Uraloglu provided further details on airline-specific adjustments in a statement.

Turkish Airlines has removed Iran flights from its schedule until March 12, while Pegasus Airlines has done so until March 20.

The minister also gave an update on aircraft currently grounded in the region.

A total of seven Iraqi Airways flights are at Turkish airports, while two Turkish aircraft remain at Tehran’s airport.

He added that two Azerbaijan Airways flights were rerouted to Turkey’s Igdir province.

Passengers from those flights were subsequently transported to Nakhchivan by land following Iranian drone attacks in the area.
