Two Magnum 4D Jackpot winners walked away with over RM37 million combined in January and February 2026
WHAT does it take to win a life-changing jackpot? For two Malaysians, the answer was surprisingly simple — a fortunate parking spot, a gut feeling, and a pair of numbers they had always believed in.
Magnum 4D has confirmed that more than RM37 million in Jackpot 1 prizes has already been won in the first two months of 2026, with two separate winners collecting fortunes that neither could have fully anticipated when they placed their bets.
The Man Who Almost Didn’t Buy a Ticket
The more recent of the two wins belongs to a player who had been loyal to Magnum 4D for over two decades — but who came extraordinarily close to not buying a ticket on the day it mattered most.
On February 15, 2026, the winner had stopped by Desa Aman Puri in Selayang, Selangor, with nothing more on his mind than picking up a drink. It was a parking spot — conveniently open right in front of a Magnum 4D outlet — that nudged him through the door. On a whim, he purchased an RM6 System Play ticket using his long-favoured numbers. That spur-of-the-moment decision earned him RM15,365,813.
The twist? He was away celebrating Chinese New Year in his hometown when a family member called with the news — his numbers, 9637 and 5722, had come out as the second and third prizes. His ticket, however, was sitting at home. He made the trip back just to scan it himself, and when the result confirmed the win, the calm evaporated instantly.
“Talk about luck meeting timing! This is the best Chinese New Year ang pow I’ve ever received,” he said. The windfall, he added, would go toward a more comfortable retirement and easing his home and car commitments.
The Retiree Who Waited for the Right Moment
The year’s first Magnum 4D Jackpot win had come just weeks earlier, on January 7, 2026, at Sri Rampai in Setapak. A 65-year-old retiree walked away with an even larger sum — RM21,883,063 — after playing a permutation combination using numbers 7003 and 9200, which he described as “hot” numbers based on past draw patterns.
Unlike casual players, this winner had a deliberate strategy: he only participates when the jackpot climbs above RM20 million. His patience paid off in the most rewarding way possible, arriving at just the right moment as he stepped into retirement.
RM37 Million and Counting
Together, the two wins represent more than RM37 million paid out in Jackpot 1 prizes alone in under two months — a remarkable start to the year for Magnum 4D and its players.
“These wins are a perfect reminder that ‘ONG’ moments can happen anytime for anyone, and we’re thrilled to see our players’ excitement and joy as the year begins on such a high note,” a Magnum 4D spokesperson said.
Beyond the jackpot celebrations, Magnum 4D also used the festive season to give back through MagnumCares, its corporate social responsibility arm.
The Welfare Homes Outreach Programme, now in its 42nd consecutive year, reached more than 204 welfare homes across Malaysia this Chinese New Year, supporting approximately 12,700 seniors, persons with disabilities, and children through donations and festive treats valued at RM606,000.
Magnum 4D Berhad, founded in 1968 and a wholly owned subsidiary of Magnum Corporation Sdn. Bhd., operates 485 sales outlets nationwide and is the first Malaysian lottery operator to be recognised by the World Lottery Association with Responsible Gaming Level 3 certification.
